Woah. Someone needs to go back to grade school where you learn all about evolution and how of course, we did not come from plants. You’re failing to consider the billions of years that it took for the earth to evolve, for atoms to form and interact and for life to slowly and eventually begin. Summing all of that up by God is ignorant. Weather or not you believe in God does not excuse a blatant ignorance for scientific facts. People need to stop taking the bible literally. There may be a god, but the bit about the world being created by said god, in 7 days is a freakin metaphor that pretty much sums up the evolution theory. Look a little closer.
at least us Christians know how to use ‘whether’ and ‘weather’ correctly.

Yes i agree, forgetting an “h” when spelling a word in a well written response to a ignorant statement is the same if not far far worse than making incorrect statements about extremely well supported scientific theory accepted by the majority of the educated world. Hahaha that guy must be a moron, especially since evolution can be proven with reason and science and the existence of a Christian “god” (note little “g”) cannot be proven by any means other that faith, that thing people have in stuff that isn’t real.

Isn’t everyone atheist? When you realise that you fail to acknowledge any other possible gods in any other religion, you will realise why we do not acknowledge your god.

I mean does evolution make sense? No. I mean it’s like saying, “Let’s take some nothing from over here, add some more nothing, grab some more from over here, and BAM! Instant universe… I mean how is that possible? So you tell me sir, should you even tell your son God is fake?

Why is it so hard for Christians to understand the basic concepts of evolution, a subject taught to 6th graders, yeah that’s right 12 year olds. The Theory of Evolution doesn’t say that the world was created from nothing, in fact it doesn’t even make mention of how our planet and the rest of the universe came into existence, it is merely a theory, a well supported one at that, which states that life evolved from less advanced organisms, humans from apes for instance. An idea that isnt so far fetched considering how similar we are, in fact considering how similar all living creatures are. WE DID NOT EVOLVE FROM NOTHING! we evolved from single cell organisms. Where did “life” come from?How could it be created without a god you wonder? Thing about it! Are viruses alive? Yes, No, sort of? We come from similar organisms, if you could even call it an organism. Evolution is some thing that took millions and millions of years!! But that’s right i forgot, the bible tells us that the earth is only a few thousand years old, carbon dating is wrong, for some reason, and oh yeah dinosaurs aren’t real, God put them here to confuse us, that makes much more sense and is easy for my small god fearing brain to comprehend.

So your telling him not to lie to his son, and not tell him god is fake and let him find out for himself?
ehh ok where did god come from then, did he just come or what ?
Weather or not God is real is up to the individual. You can believe whatever you damn well please. And its only after you die that you’ll find out for real.
However, on an interesting note. The Askers rating was just hilarious. That poor answerer should have check her facts a little better before she posted. Oddly, she is right about Albert Einstien, who after doing tons of scientfic studies, decided that there MUST have been a itellegent designer behind the universe.
Another thing: If you think the the 7 days of the biblical creation are stupid, take a closer look at the big bang theory. Now THAT is stupid! “Nothing was pulled together by nothing into a spinning dot. Then the nothing exploded and all the stars and planets came into being. Then is rained on the rocks for millions of years and made soup. Then life began, and life found something to eat, found someone to reproduce with, and started having babies of different species….” Hell yeah, that’s “science”.
I think we all should stop trying to figure out how the world began and just admit that we DON’T KNOW. And then go on and try to make the world a better place.

What a shithead
Well, I’m 15 and I don’t think that God created Earth, or the extremely varied life on it. But you HAVE to admit that the Big Bang theory is pretty, well, easy to go against. I mean seriously energy cannot be created or destroyed only changed into another form. Which would mean that either the universe was made from something I.E, a never ending cycle of imploding universes, the “Closed universe” theory. Or that something LIKE, a God used it’s self to create the universe by changing into a different type of energy, (That is a theory I came up with after thinking about the basic laws of physics, but hey I’m just some 15 year old kid, I’m probably wrong.). Then there’s the question of; if there was a God, what created him, he can’t just exist… Unless the laws of physics don’t apply, in which case it’s too complex for me to even try and figure out.
As a side note: Like most people, I do have an opinion about religion. I just don’t give expression to it most of the time.
Why? Because religion divides people and motivates them to seek the company of those who agree with them.
I don’t want to drive anyone away.
