   Actually they’ve not been cheated, It’s a Mac thing where it will connect you to a server via the terminal app (similar to ms-dos) and it will then play the whole of star wars in ASCII.

     Its not a ‘mac thing’ its a telnet thing. It works on windows, mac and linux

   You don’t always have to use http to connect to something, telnet works just fine
