Tampons are made for females to use them. If you are old enough to go on a cruise then you are old enough to wear a tampon. they come in different sizes I suggest get a box with a variety of different sizes so you can figure out which one is the best for you. There is no reason why you should let your period ruin your vaction. I would suggest that you use a tampon you do not want to go in the water if you are bleeding because there is a chance that you will bleed in the water, and you can see through clear water.
