Given Darwinism is based on faith, how can it be taught in school where church & state are seperated?

Thepaxilman: And don’t even get me started on evolution. It is JUST a theory!

    Based on evidence.

I always wondered that myself. Evolution has about as much proof as God and they don’t teach us about God in school.? Our society has such a double standard. It actually makes me kinda sick.

Everyone knows that Science is just another religion like Christianity, Islam, or Japan.

You are a moron. Before you go comment on something know a
Little bit about it ok? Darwinism and evolution has no mentioning of god nor condemning of god. You my

Well, the asker has a point. Darwinism requires just as much of a leap of faith as faith in God does.

  5. Charles says:

Darwinism is taught in schools to separate the clever and the stupid. Students who get Darwinism are marked as deserving of special attention, while those who don’t a classed as sub standard and less time is wasted on them.

There’s no point teaching religion as well as, although the results would be reversed, the end result would be the same.

Evolution is a THEORY, as is Intellegent Design.
All the “evidence” of Evolution can be easily disproved by real scientific studies. I find it slightly easier to believe that some bad-a55 Diety created the world than it coming together by chance. But as the Asker states, it requires faith to believe it because the “evidence” is not actually there. And according to the “separation of Church & state” it should not be taught unless it is taught unbiasedly along with Intellegent Design.

What they should say is “We don’t know how the world began, but here are some theories on it.”

Oh and Charles, I know TONS of people who totally get the Theory of Evolution, but don’t believe it because the chances are far to great for it to be scientific.
